if you're listening to this, i'm so glad that you're here. in this episode, i talk about the past few months and my big move from the place where i was raised to a state over one thousand miles away, what i've been doing since, and how my grief over the past year has been interwoven into it all.

finding your life's purpose is no easy feat, believe me. there is so much pressure to achieve your purpose even from a young age which can become incredibly burdensome when it isn't clear right away. after seeing the Barbie movie (which I heavily encourage you all to do) I was inspired by the messages about purpose to record this episode and discuss my experience with it.

in honor of pride month this june I recorded an episode all about my journey with my gender and sexual identity. for a very long time, I was confused, ashamed, and wished that I could just be like everyone else, but once I found people that accepted me as I was it became easier for me to do the same. this month has become so important to me because it serves as a celebration of identities that have long been stigmatized and vilified as well as what it means to be truly free. I am forever grateful for those who have fought for people like me to be treated equally and with respect. with that being said, happy pride!

I'm sure everyone and their mother is so curious as to what some of my absolute favorite things in this world are. So I decided to be so kind and share some of them with you all in this episode. Enjoy twenty minutes of me talking about all the things I love from double-decker trains to soup and everything in between.

for me, trying new things has always brought about large amounts of anxiety and I've always tried my best to steer clear of it. recently that hasn't been the case. since starting college, I've begun to put myself out there more and try things that previously would have made my hands sweat or shake. since doing so, I've learned so much more about myself and hope my experiences can show you that you can do hard things too.

sharing your experiences and feelings with others can be one of the most difficult things in the world, I know it has been for me. talking through things has always made me feel better, so i hope by hearing what i have to say about mental illness you feel like you're not so alone.
