What does adventuring with cats look like when every cat has a different personality and a different journey? 🐈🏕️
In this episode, I’m chatting with Teri, a member of my Trailblazers community, about her experiences exploring the world with three very different cats: Coco, Brighton, and Mazama (aka Mazzie).
Teri’s journey began with Coco, a show cat who traveled to cat shows in style before eventually becoming a hiking and camping companion alongside Brighton. Now, Teri is building a new chapter of outdoor adventures with Mazzie!
We talk about how her cats got started exploring outdoors, what she’s learned from adventuring with different cats, favorite memories from their time together, and how she’s helping Mazzie discover the world outside.
Teri’s story is a wonderful reminder that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to cat adventures. Whether your cat loves hiking and camping, is just beginning harness training, or enjoys exploring new things closer to home, there are so many ways to build a richer life together. 🧡

What does it really look like to explore the outdoors with your cat?
In this episode of the KittyCatGO Adventure Podcast, I’m joined by Calli, a member of my Trailblazers community, to talk about her experiences exploring and adventuring with Figgy.
We chat about how they got started going outside together, the challenges they faced along the way, Figgy’s favorite outdoor activities, and some of their most memorable experiences.
But outdoor adventures aren’t the only thing we talk about! Calli also shares some of Figgy’s favorite indoor enrichment activities, games, and training exercises.
I wanted to start bringing more real cat parents onto the podcast because there’s so much value in hearing what this actually looks like in everyday life. Every cat is different, every cat parent is different, and there’s no single right way to enrich your cat’s life.
Your cat doesn’t have to hike mountains or travel to faraway places for you to create meaningful experiences together. Your journey can look completely different from someone else’s — and that’s something worth celebrating.
I hope Figgy and Calli’s story gives you some inspiration for your own cat. 🧡

What does it actually take to travel the world with a cat? And perhaps more importantly… what do you do when your cat needs to use the bathroom? 😹🚗
In this episode, I’m joined by Albert Colominas, owner of Outdoor Bengal, and his adventure cat Mia. Mia has traveled extensively with Albert by both car and airplane, so we’re diving into the practical side of traveling with cats — from preparing your cat for a road trip, to handling bathroom breaks and portable litter boxes, to setting up a litter box when you arrive somewhere new.
We also talk the travel gear Albert never leaves home without and some of the lessons he’s learned through years of adventures with Mia. 🐈🌎

Why would you want to harness train your cat in the first place? And what if your cat freezes, flops, gets scared, or just doesn't seem interested? 🐈🧡
In this episode, I'm sharing a recording of a recent YouTube Live all about cat harness training. I talk about why I think harness training can be such a valuable form of enrichment, how different cats may respond to it, what to do when you hit training roadblocks, and how to tell whether your cat is actually ready to move forward.
I also answer questions from viewers throughout the conversation, so this episode has a little more of a relaxed Q&A feel than my usual solo episodes.
Should you get a cat backpack or a cat stroller for outdoor adventures? I've used both for years, and in this episode, I'm breaking down the pros and cons of each so you can decide which one makes the most sense for you and your cat. 🐈⬛🎒
I'll talk about when I prefer a backpack, when a stroller makes more sense, the types of environments each works best in, and why I recommend always having a way to safely transport your cat when you're adventuring away from home.
I'll also share how I use backpacks and strollers when introducing my cats to new places, plus an important reminder: whichever option you choose, your cat will likely need some time and training to become comfortable using it.
Because there's no single piece of gear that's right for every cat or every adventure. The best choice depends on where you're going, how you're getting there, and what works for your individual cat. 🧡

What happens when you and your cat face a challenge that feels like it may never get better?
In this community-contributed episode of the KittyCatGO Adventure Podcast, I'm handing the microphone over to members of my Trailblazers community to share stories about challenges they and their cats once thought they'd never overcome.
You'll hear four different stories about setbacks, breakthroughs, patience, and progress. From learning new skills to overcoming fears and navigating challenges that took months or even years, these stories are a reminder that progress doesn't always happen quickly—and that sometimes the little victories are the ones that matter most. 🐾
My hope is that these stories encourage you if you're currently struggling with something that feels impossible with your own cat. Your journey may look completely different from someone else's, but that doesn't mean you're not making progress.
And maybe someday, the thing you're struggling with today will become the story you tell about the challenge you never thought you'd overcome. 🧡
I'm taking a short mid-season break, but don't worry - I'll be back on August 12th with brand new episodes! In the meantime, here are a few ways you can support me and the show:

Cats are often labeled as stubborn, aloof, difficult, or untrainable — but what if we’ve been looking at cat behavior all wrong?
In this episode, I sit down with Misty from Fellow Creatures to talk about trust, communication, enrichment, and what it really means to work with our cats instead of trying to control them.
We explore how training can strengthen the bond between cats and humans, why choice and agency matter so much, and how understanding behavior through a different lens can completely transform our relationships with our cats.

If you share your home with more than one cat, you've probably wondered at some point: Can I just take them all out together?
It sounds efficient in theory—one outing, multiple cats, everyone gets their adventure time. But in practice, taking more than one cat outside at a time can be a lot more complicated than many people realize.
In this episode, I share my thoughts on adventuring with multiple cats, including:

What if the way we’ve been feeding our cats… isn’t actually what they need?
In this episode, I sit down with Jess from Caticles, a clinical pet nutritionist, to talk all about raw feeding — a topic that can feel overwhelming, controversial, and confusing.
We break down the myths, the risks, and the real benefits, and talk about how nutrition plays a much bigger role in your cat’s life than most people realize.
From practical tips to big-picture insights, this episode is all about helping you better understand what’s in your cat’s bowl — and how it impacts their health and behavior.
