From a young age he was fascinated by electronic music. The main reason was a vinyl album by Jean Michel Jarre. Later he discovered Depeche Mode for himself and became a passionate fan and devoured everything from Synth-Pop, EBM to Industrial.
Powered by EBM sound, he got a 1993 double album by Front 242. This album beyond the scope of anything he had ever heard. The remixes of the song Religion came from The Prodigy.
The sound of The Prodigy was looking back for him the mind-opener. The song Out of Space was ultimately the spark.
Infected by the hype surrounding this new sound that escaped him either DJs such as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Carl Craig, Carl Cox and Dave Clarke. Their sound was the one who influenced him, and later still should pursue.
In 1994 he began the DJaying - at that time House - which gave him a residence in 1995 in a local club called Spectrum.
In 1996, the first experiments in the field of techno stood out more clearly. The first visits in the Berlin based Clubs like E-Werk and the old Tresor caused a complete style change. Since then, he was addicted to techno final.
Under the name Ron H. then followed until 2003, many bookings in Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony, private events and extravagant parties in dark techno floors. Also, as an organizer of events, he proved that he can inspire people for a cause.
These included events with the Soundcontrol Crew, the Unikeller Guben and the Winterhafen Frankfurt / Oder. The name Ron H. was at that time inevitably for driving techno.
Gradually, hard-techno became less gloss and a certain stoppage of innovation in the releases became apparent. This he took in 2002 on the occasion, pausing for several years performing in clubs, in order to find himself.
The minimalistic sound to this point evolved rapidly and brought new life into the music. When he went back to look for new releases, he took another musical drift and ended up with tech-house and minimal house. Back to the roots with a big step forward.
Thus in 2005 the name of Ron H. just decided to the name dextar. The new alias dextar is also a nickname for online networks, as well as inspired by a character of a jump&run game and has up to the present time as a DJ name.
2006 sparked internet radios his attention and he discovered new possibilities. So he started his first own radio show called Advanced Mix Series on a small Internet radio with the name 2deejaysRadio.
In 2007 he was involved by his old friend Ronny Gee in the Event-Crew Sound of Eastside and support him in the management in the preparation of the content on the Internet and as a DJ.
Also in 2007, he moved to a large Internet radio project named shouted.fm, launched his successful radio show called Dextamusic there and led the team of the stream mth.Club!
The radio show Dextarmusic evolved to the magnet every 2 weeks and presented a Guest-Mix of known artists. Musically, the show was between tech-house, minimal house and minimal techno.
In 2010 he finished working with shouted.fm and decided to build its own Internet radio. For over a year he programmed on the radio site and built with a good friend on the server system.
In April 2011, it was ready and the internet radio under the name soe.fm was online. He fulfilled his dream of many years and dedicated himself entirely to this project.
The Dextarmusic radio show was on soe.fm course but occasionally continued the DJaying remained through the work on the project more and more on the track. While working on soe.fm the sound was harder, which did not go over well at it.
In November 2012, a good friend with a digital setup encouraged him to hang up without turntables. With a heavy heart as previously loyal vinyl DJ he started to collect MP3 files.
Thus he landed back at Techno - without exception. Since then he has also heard regularly on the radio again, new sets and published with the sound always on the pulse.
Currently, after almost 20 years as is the name dextar back fully for Techno: impulsive, forceful and restless. It seems like a revival of the days of Ron H., but far from it, because he made a big step forward.
He never stopped at one point and he has moved steadily with time, never been unfaithful to his style. He has made techno over the years to his figurehead.

Schon in jungen Jahren war er von elektronischer Musik fasziniert. Ausschlaggebend dafür war ein Vinyl-Album von Jean Michel Jarre. Später entdeckte er Depeche Mode für sich und wurde zu einem leidenschaftlichen Fan und verschlang alles von Synthi-Pop über EBM bis hin zu Industrial.
Angetrieben vom EBM-Sound, geriet er 1993 an ein Doppel-Album von Front 242. Dieses Album sprengte den Rahmen von allem, was er bisher gehört hatte. Die Remixes des darauf enthaltenen Songs Religion kamen damals von The Prodigy.
Der Sound von The Prodigy war rückblickend für ihn der Mind-Opener. Der Song Out of Space war letztendlich der zündende Funke.
Infiziert durch den Hype um diesen neuen Sound, entgingen ihm auch nicht DJs wie Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Carl Craig, Carl Cox oder Dave Clarke. Ihr Sound war es, der ihn geprägt hat und später auch noch verfolgen sollte.

Auch als Veranstalter eigener Events bewies er, dass er Leute für eine Sache begeistern kann. Darunter waren Events mit der Soundcontrol Crew, dem Unikeller Guben und dem Winterhafen Frankfurt/Oder. Der Name Ron H. stand zu dieser Zeit unweigerlich für treibenden Techno.
Nach und nach verlor Hard-Techno immer mehr an Glanz und ein gewisser Stillstand der Innovation in den Releases zeichnete sich ab. Dies nahm er sich 2002 zum Anlass und pausierte für einige Jahre mit Auftritten in Clubs, um sich wieder selbst zu finden.
Der minimalistische Sound entwickelte sich diesem Zeitpunkt rasant und brachte neuen Wind in die Musik. Als er sich wieder auf die Suche nach neuen Releases machte, vollzog er einen weiteren musikalischen Drift und landete bei Tech-House und Minimal-House. Back tot he roots - mit einem großen Schritt nach vorn.
Somit wurde 2005 aus Ron H. kurzer Hand dextar. Das neue Alias dextar ist zudem ein Nickname für Online-Netzwerke, sowie an eine Spielfigur eines Jump & Runs angelehnt und besteht bis in die heutige Zeit als DJ-Name.
2006 weckten Internet-Radios seine Aufmerksamkeit und er entdeckte die neuen Möglichkeiten, die ihm damit offen stehen. So startete er seine erste eigene Radioshow mit dem Namen Advanced Mix Series auf einem kleinen Internet-Radio mit dem Namen 2deejaysRadio.
2007 wurde er von seinem alten Freund Ronny Gee in die Event-Crew Sound of Eastside involviert und unterstütze ihn beim Management, bei der Aufbereitung der Inhalte im Internet und als DJ.
Ebenfalls in 2007 wechselte er zu einem großen Internetradio-Projekt mit dem Namen shouted.fm, startete dort seine erfolgreiche Radioshow mit dem Namen Dextamusic und leitete das Team des Streams mth.Club!
Die Radioshow Dextarmusic entwickelte sich zum Magneten und präsentierte alle 2 Wochen ein Guest-Mix bekannter Künstler. Musikalisch lag die Show zwischen Tech-House, Minimal-House und Minimal-Techno.
2010 beendete er die Zusammenarbeit mit shouted.fm und entschloss sich ein eigenes Internet-Radio aufzubauen. Über ein Jahr programmierte er an der Radio-Website und baute mit einem guten Freund an dem Server-System.
Im April 2011 war es dann soweit und das Internet-Radio unter dem Namen soe.fm war online. Damit erfüllte er sich einen jahrelangen Traum und widmete sich voll und ganz diesem Projekt.
Die Radioshow Dextarmusic wurde auf soe.fm natürlich gelegentlich weitergeführt aber das DJaying blieb durch die Arbeit an dem Projekt mehr und mehr auf der Strecke. Während der Arbeit an soe.fm wurde der Sound härter, was auch an ihm nicht vorbei ging.
Im November 2012 ermutigte ihn ein guter Freund mit einem digitalen Setup ohne Turntables aufzulegen. Schweren Herzens als bisher treuer Vinyl-DJ begann er damit, mp3-Dateien zu sammeln. Somit landete er wieder beim Techno – ausnahmslos. Seitdem ist er auch wieder regelmäßig im Radio zu hören, veröffentlicht neue Sets und mit dem Sound immer am Puls der Zeit.
Aktuell nach fast 20 Jahren als steht der Name dextar wieder voll und ganz für Techno: treibend, kraftvoll und rastlos. Es scheint wie ein Revival aus den Zeiten von Ron H., aber weit gefehlt, denn er machte einen weiteren großen Schritt nach vorn. Nie ist er auf einem Punkt stehen geblieben.
Er hat sich stetig mit der Zeit bewegt, seinem Style nie untreu geworden. Er hat über all die Jahre Techno zu seinem Aushängeschild gemacht.
