The California Supreme Court has rejected a state law that would have required President Donald Trump to disclose his tax returns to appear on the state's primary ballot.A federal judge had temporarily blocked the state law in response to a different lawsuit and the high court ruled quickly because the deadline for submitting tax returns to get on the primary ballot is next week.

Tulare Councilmember Greg Nunley will soon face a judge after authorities say he was stopped for street racing down a Visalia thoroughfare. The Tulare County District attorney filed several charges against Nunley for speeding, reckless driving, and failing to carry a license.The Tulare City attorney says even if Nunley were to be convicted, it wouldn't affect his position on the council since the charges are misdemeanors.

Backers of a California ballot measure to roll back Proposition 13 tax protections have started gathering voter signatures.The initiative, known as the “Split Roll,” would raise $10 billion a year by taxing commercial properties based on their fair market value instead of their purchase price. The money would fund schools, community colleges and local governments.

World Against Toys Causing Harm (WATCH) unveiled its annual list Tuesday at a Boston children's hospital. It says many of the products present choking, eye and other safety hazards frequently found in poorly designed toys. It also cites the products for having inconsistent and inadequate warnings labels. D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine brought charges against DoorDash accusing the company of pocketing tips meant for workers and misleading customers about where their money was going. The lawsuit alleges DoorDash’s disclosure about its tipping model was “ambiguous, confusing, and misleading because it encouraged consumers to tip, but did not disclose that a consumer’s tip would make no difference at all to a Dasher’s pay and would only go toward subsidizing DoorDash’s of Dasher pay.”

Thousands of Disney+ user accounts have been stolen by hackers and put up for sale on the dark web. Just hours after the service was rolled out, hackers hijacked user accounts and were either offering them for free on hacking forums or selling them for prices between $3 to $11. Disney says there’s no indication of a security breach compromising passwords. It says it takes the privacy and security of users’ data seriously. The California State Controller's Office has about 9.8 billion dollars' worth of unclaimed property, and some of that might be yours. There's no fee to search your name or file a claim. Properties with only one possible owner, that are worth $5000 or less are eligible to file a claim electronically. A California woman, Tatyana Hargrove, who lost a police excessive force lawsuit was arrested on suspicion of tampering with an officer’s food at a McDonald’s restaurant. The incident occurred at a McDonald’s in Bakersfield, Calif. Hargrove allegedly tampered with a police officer’s food . She was taken into custody on Saturday morning and was booked on one felony count of tampering with food.
