I also go over all the Maverick athletic events happening this weekend and two events that will be on Monday night, the Maverick Success Workshop: Self Care and The Real Thanksgiving Dinner.

In this episode, I go over the busy weekend for Maverick athletics, remind students about the toy drive MNSU is putting on all throughout November and the African Student Association is hosting a jam and paint night for anyone to join in! 

In this episode, I go over the jam-packed day here on the MNSU campus! From the “Health for Heroes” event offering active, reserve, and retired military members a variety of health services for free, a Red Cross Blood Drive, a Leadership Summit, or Y2K Bingo, students have a variety of events to attend! 

In this episode, I remind listeners about the Birding for Everyone event here on campus and the last activity in the For the Birds event occurring Saturday at Minneopa State Park. Upward Bound at Minnesota State University, Mankato is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive where students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to donate if they can! Minnesota State University, Mankato’s 2023-2024 Good Thunder Reading Series is hosting its next event when writer Shelley Wong visits campus for a series of events. The Student Executive Team is also hosting a Leadership Summit which includes a panel and networking time with important leaders and executives who work in a variety of fields and industries. Lastly, Dr. Jameel Haque is hosting a lecture where he plans to cover topics in order to help those who do not know enough about the war in Gaza to form an educated opinion.    

In this episode, I go over the Adam Sandler Club and the Minnesota State Mankato Collegiate Bass Fishing Team. Both clubs are hoping to raise money in order to keep their clubs running and to allow students the opportunity to be a part of something they enjoy here on campus. The Maverick Involvement is also hosting a How to Lose an Audience in 10 Ways leadership workshop and the second activity in a series of events about birds and conservation in Minnesota, Birding for Everyone, will include two guest speakers for students and the public to learn more about birds and conservation in Minnesota!     

In this episode, I recap the Maverick athletics from this weekend ranging from the men's football team to women's swimming and diving! I also go over the "Paper Chain of Empowerment" event hosted by the Women Empowerment club here on campus where students can relieve stress by participating in interactive, mental health and wellness activities! Lastly, I remind listeners about the “Health for Heroes” event on November 9th where the Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Allied Health and Nursing is honoring active, reserve, and retired military members by offering a variety of dental, hearing, and health services for free.  

In this episode, I remind students about the Annual U-Lead Conference and the keynote speaker who is closing out the event, Erik Westrum. I mention the Wiffle Ball Club which is hosting its first public event tomorrow evening for students and faculty to join in on some fun! The men's and women's basketball seasons start this week and this weekend marks the final homestand for the women's volleyball team. 
I then preview an event that is upcoming next Thursday because there are appointments required. Mankato’s College of Allied Health and Nursing is honoring active, reserve, and retired military members by offering a variety of dental, hearing, and health services for free. This is going on November 9th and in addition to the free services, a variety of programs ranging from dietetics to recreation will be offering health and wellness resources on a drop-in basis. 

In this episode, I remind students of the Annual U-Lead Conference: Building Healthy Habits as Leaders starting today and ending tomorrow with Erik Westrum as the keynote speaker. MNSU is also doing a toy drive all throughout November and are trying to collect 300 toys in 30 days. Everyone is welcome to donate if they can! Lastly, I go over Stuck on Stickers, an event hosted by AIGA Mankato, and a pizza party hosted by the Department of Creative Arts!
