In this episode, I go over two Halloween events that are occurring on campus for students to celebrate the holiday. The University of Minnesota's Raptor Center is set to visit campus Wednesday and is open to all students, faculty, and staff! The 11th Annual U-Lead Conference: Building Healthy Habits as Leaders is a 2-day event for students to gain personal and professional skills that will help them in the future. The event will start on Wednesday and go until Thursday. To end the show, I mention the four Maverick athletes who have been honored this week for their achievements both on and off the field!

In this episode, I go over the various events that are in store this weekend for Family Weekend 2023! It is quite a jam-packed weekend for students and their families with events such as The Price is Right, a pancake breakfast, and a Vikings/Packers watch party in the Maverick Bullpen! There are also plenty of opportunities to watch the Mavs in action this weekend from women's hockey to men's football. It is quite the weekend to be a Mav!  

In this episode, I recap the Professional Sales Workshop hosted by the Student Executive Team with guest speaker Tommy Merickel. He gave great advice on not only being a college student but being a human being and I was lucky enough to get interviews with four students on the Student Executive Team. I also preview Family Weekend 2023 which is scheduled for this upcoming weekend here on campus and go over all the events that are happening this Friday! 

In this episode, I go over the Professional Sales Workshop hosted by the Student Executive Team featuring Tommy Merickel. This event will be extremely beneficial for students as Tommy will share insight on how to be successful in the workplace. A showing of the 2013 film Her will be hosted by the Maverick Alliance of Secular Students. There are also quite a few spooky events happening on campus today, both the CSU Haunted Takeover and a Halloween Horror Movie Night hosted by The American Institute of Graphic Arts - Mankato. The Mavs in Action and Neurodiversity Club are hosting meetings as well. Both the women's soccer and volleyball teams have matches this Friday as they both look to defeat Minnesota Crookston.  

In this episode, I go over two events happening later this evening and events going on around campus tomorrow. The last Renting 101 Information Session is occurring and the CSU Haunted Takeover will be a spooky way for students to spend their evening! I also highlight two Maverick athletes who were honored this week in their respective sports, Kiya Durant and Amanda Montplaisir.   

In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Dr. Amy Roisum Foley about the wind ensemble here at MNSU. She spoke about how she picks her pieces for their concerts, why she became a band director, and how students can get involved in the wind ensemble here on campus. I touched on the tough weekend for Maverick Athletics and how the teams are looking to get back into the win column in their upcoming games, but also the teams that had success over the weekend. Both the women's swim team and the men's and women's cross-country teams placed well in their respective events. On campus, there is an ASL Club meeting, the Maverick Involvement Team is hosting a leadership workshop, and the Access Your Abilities organization is screening Normal Isn't Real for students, faculty, and staff to learn the stories of four young adults with learning disabilities and ADHD who share their journeys to success in work and school and the strategies they use to manage their challenges.  

In this episode, I go over the busy weekend here at Minnesota State! From a spooky haunted house to the wind ensemble concert, there is plenty to do around campus! There are three interviews also provided by students who are currently in wind ensemble. Maverick Athletics also has quite a busy schedule this weekend, I go over the women's soccer and hockey and men's football and hockey.       

April 25, 2023 The Big Ideas Challenge at Minnesota State University, Mankato is a new venture competition that encourages and celebrates innovative business ideas. KMSU's Matt Brown went to the 2023 challenge and describes this year's ideas and tells the story of a past participant (Logan Sendle of Lakeshore Potential) who made his winning Big Idea into a successful business after graduating from Minnesota State Mankato.

April 7, 2023 Josh Peck, comedian and TV celebrity spoke at MNSU to hundreds of students on campus about his struggles with weight, bullying and how it has formed him into who he is today. KMSU's Brittney OKeefe reflects on how his journey impacted how she looks at herself.
