It comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture. The funds will go toward increasing food, gardening and nutrition education for youth in under-served communities.

A group of Minnesota State Mankato students are doing their part to help with Governor Tim Walz's call for Homemade Mask Week to slow the spread of COVID-19. Mavs of Action Committee (MAC) is a student-run organization supported at Minnesota State University, Mankato. MAC focuses on social justice through education, advocacy, and activism with an inclusive and intersectional feminist lens. MAC strives to unite MNSU students in an effort to create change on the MNSU campus as well as in the Mankato, Minnesota community.
