KMUSICEVERYDAY

On this week...there has been so much good stuff coming out it's hard to keep up. We've got new stuff from Hoody, Oceanfromtheblue, Penomeco, and more. This episode sort of sandwiches some hard hip-hop tracks in between some really groove-driven, soulful RnB joints.

Of those RnB joints are two tracks off Oceanfromtheblue's new mixtape, "LOVELIKEBOYZANDGIRLS," which is amazing. I barely came across this artist recently and have been loving the work so far. Head over to his soundcloud (soundcloud.com/oceanfromtheblue) and get the new mixtape for free!

Beyond that, Hoody is back with her sultry vocals accompanied by Jay Park once again. This time with a track produced by Slom, whom I have played multiple times on the show. In addition to that, get down to some new Penomeco and B Jyun and most importantly...Enjoy!

On this week...It's an 80s vibe! I feel like I've done this before...but either way, there's too many good 80s inspired tracks, so it definitely won't be the last. We've got some good synthy, bass-heavy grooves from EXO-CBX, BTS, CLC, AoA, and many more (So many acronyms). Of course, we have a couple songs from the Wonder Girl's album, "Reboot," which is in my opinion, one of the greatest Kpop albums ever conceived. With that said, get out those dancing shoes and...enjoy!

On this week...we start off as a normal episode with some hip hop, RnB, and indie joints. Great stuff from the likes of Jay Park, Punchnello, Yeseo, and etc. But we end a bit differently.

I actually DJ'ed house music back in the day and have been wanting to do a mix of house/dance tracks by Korean artists for quite some time now. This week, I finally did a 40 minute mix featuring some of my favorite house originals and remixes, all of and/or by Korean artists. This includes Yaeji, Peggy Gou, Cifika, U-Noo, Deepshower, plus many more. I'm very rusty, so please excuse the quality of the transitions, but I had fun nonetheless. I am hoping to do more of these types of mixes. Please let me know what you guys think. It starts around the 22 minute mark.

Also, it was a bit tough for me to find a lot of Korean house/dance artists. If you know of any Korean house DJ/producers I should know about, shoot me a message or comment below! Enjoy!

On this week...I was really busy and had little time to put together a show. So what we have is a lot of new stuff mixed with some recent past favorites. HA:TFELT, who is Yenny formerly of Wonder Girls, has always had solid solo stuff. Her new EP, "Deine," is no exception. Also, Whee In from Mamamoo has come out with a solo venture featuring Sik-K called, "Easy," that's amazing. Plus, the boys have been killing it lately, so we have new tracks from EXO-CBX, VIXX, The Rose, and Super Junior. And to fill it out, I added some old favorites from the like of Lovelyz, Jonghyun, HyunA, and more. Enjoy!

On this week...I've been in a hip hop mood, so it's one of those. I was driving around bumpin' Kid Milli and Jindoggae the other day and it really influenced this episode.

There has been some amazing releases by record label Hi-Lite lately. So many good artists on there, including one of my favorite MCs, G2. In addition to JUSTHIS & Paloalto's latest album, "4 the Youth," which I've been stuck on, they've added new releases from YunB and Reddy. So I decided to play a few of my favorites from the Hi-Lite crew, new and old.

With that said, this is a pretty heavy hip hop episode with a few RnB joints mixed in. Highlights include a new Crush feature on American producer Cavalier's new album, a dope Jorja Smith remix by Korean producer/songwriter Duplex G, and Jindoggae's "OOP OOP," which hypes me up every time. Also note the first track by KME All-Star B. Jyun. He was one of the very first Korean "soundcloud artists" I ever got into and he's come out with some new stuff lately (which I will play very soon). But I wanted to start it off with a favorite of mine, "I DESERVE feat. 100KGOLD," which uses a beat from amazing American producer Oshi. Enjoy!

21. Oceanfromtheblue - Young feat. Yayyoung

On this week...I was torn between 90s hip hop vibes and deep synth 80s vibes. In the end, EXID and their new single, "Lady" won out and this episode is rife with that 90s inspired sound which has been hot the last year or so, but even more recently because of Bruno Mars/Cardi B. With that said, I enjoyed putting this one together. Anytime I can get a theme to rally around, I relish the opportunity. I did a classic 90s episode of the KME Mixtape a while back which was fun. I'll put a link below in case you missed it.

I was initially torn because of the epic comeback of Primary & Anda and their 4 song release. Anda is an old favorite of mine and it's great to see her back and in the best way. I threw in their track, "Moonlight" at the end of this episode, which may be a good lead in to next week. Enjoy!

On this week...We have some new stuff from the Marylin Monderland crew (Junny, Yelloasis, Holymoley! etc.), who have been killing it with releases lately. Also have the new Dean remix of "Dante's Creek" from rap duo THEY. At this point, it simply a guarantee that if Dean is involved, its solid gold. He has risen to a whole other level in the last couple of years.

We've also got some new stuff from the ladies. A recent favorite of mine, Shinyujinssi, released her new mixtape "HYDRANGEA," and it's amazing. Definitely go check it out. Plus some stuff from KME All-Star Luna-Tune and 16 year old female MC Sandy. Add in new tracks from Seora Kim and Lay.Bn, and we've got an episode. Enjoy!

On this week...I did my best to switch it up. Every time I feel like I get into a comfortable space with this show, I know I have to mix it up. It's easy to get caught up in what's popular now. So I went for some different sounds by a various mix of artists. Threw in a little acoustic renditions and hip-hop stuff; a few unique tracks by some girl groups; And not that much new stuff except that new Kisum, NCT 127, and TVXQ! I did play three of my favorite LOOΠΔ tracks. I can't give this group enough praise...and they still haven't even officially debuted! Enjoy!
