  • Episode 23-0203: The Secretaries, a campy, whacky, horror-comedy set in Big Bone, Oregon, comes to Willamette University

No matter where you’ve worked, at some point it crossed your mind — c’mon, admit it — that the coworker or boss you hate so much would be better off gone, as in dead.

On this episode of KMUZ Theatre Talk, Willamette University Theatre manager Stephen Alexander and guest director Stephanie Mulligan join Ann and Ed to talk about The Secretaries, a whacky cult horror-comedy set in the timber town of Big Bone, Oregon. The Secretaries, written by The Five Lesbian Brothers, features five actors playing numerous roles — from a cult leader to followers to unwary victims of feminine mayhem. It’s about office politics and back-stabbing coworkers taken to the max, all in the name of camp comedy and . . . chainsaws???
