HOT TAKE: Batman: The Animated Series is GOAT.

I watched the final of the three Columbia Pictures Sinbad movies and... hoo boy.

0:30 - Chainsaw Man. I don't like Chainsaw Man. Even through he's a man with a chainsaw

10:34 - Sinbad is bad. Fascinatingly bad. Specifically the third Sinbad film from Columbia Pictures

48:30 - My video game resolution for 2023!

6:58 PMaddictedtochaosHello

6:59 PMaddictedtochaosHope everyone had a good holiday. I ate way too much.

7:01 PMSheekagoHappy New Year's Eve

7:05 PMSheekagoI don't really watch anime, but I kept seeing ads for Chainsaw man. It never called out to me.

7:12 PMLynndy LeeHappy New Year from the world of tomorrow!

7:15 PManime momoTest.

7:16 PMSheekagoLOL Tom Baker as Sinbad's enemy. How old is this movie?

7:17 PManime momoHello Andrew, Hello Lynndy Lee, hello Sheekago how are you? (:

7:18 PMLynndy Leehey anime momo 👋

7:18 PMSheekagoDoing well Anime momo. Hope you're having a great day

7:24 PMCafeFoxHappy New year peeps

7:25 PMSheekagoAfter this movie, Jane Seymour put down in her resume, "Does own stunts in heels"

7:30 PManime momoNice outfit Andrew. (:

7:33 PManime momoGolden boy what a great anime.

7:36 PManime momoFor a guy who has anime in his name I haven’t been watching any anime in the past couple of months…not too sure why. :|

7:42 PMA-DumbUser-idk what this is but happy new year

7:48 PMA-DumbUser-oh...bad green screen 💀

7:50 PMSheekagoI completed a few 3DS and Switch games.

7:51 PMSheekagoAre you going to give Persona 5 Royal another go?

7:53 PManime momoI’m going to be very casual this year when it comes to gaming probably won’t play by myself, but will try to play in a more social setting.

7:55 PMA-DumbUser-I also wanna finish games like Dead Cells and Blasphemous. I recently tho finally got a PS5 and can now get to play those GOW games. So I'll have to put a hold on those games

7:56 PMSheekagoI picked up P5 Royal but need to wait to play it. Then it came out on Game Pass *face palm*

7:57 PMA-DumbUser-oh boy not him.....

7:57 PMSheekagoThen again, it might be gone from Game Pass when I'm ready to play it

7:59 PMSheekagoI need to beat Bayonetta 1, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Astral Chain.

8:02 PMSheekagoMy goal is to beat them. I might come back later to 100% complete them later in life.

8:04 PMSheekagoI did see the toilet fairy. It reminded me of the hand in the toilet from Majora's Mask

8:05 PMSheekagoOh Demolition Man's "3 shells" for the toilet. Stallone just swears to get tickets to use as tp.

8:06 PMSheekagoI need to beat Bayo 1 to start and hopefully 2, to start 3. Vicious back log

8:08 PManime momoThat game was too big for the switch

8:10 PMA-DumbUser-bayo 3 was neat and all but they definitely bite off more then they can chew with the story and maybe even the graphics a bit (might have been too big for the switch)

8:10 PMCafeFoxJust finished playing American McGees Alice. Boy that was pretty rough one.. Madness Returns so far is pretty good!

8:11 PMA-DumbUser-I think things like environmental stuff and character designs idk

8:14 PMA-DumbUser-with how long we had to wait it stings a little to see how much wasted potential there was to it (or at least I think so. Cuz honestly there's a lot of cool stuff)

8:14 PMSheekagoHave a great New Year all.

2023 is here, and what better way to welcome it in than to look back at the year just gone by? We focus on our favourite backlog titles of 2022 as well as a quick recap of December as we wave in the new year and kick the old one out!

Welcome to Movie Mandates, a review show in which sibling cinephiles Andrew and Keleigh force each other to watch movies according to a monthly theme!  Considering that it is now 2023, I figured it was finally time to see what all the fuss over Beyoncé is about.  I hear she's kind of a big deal and I would do well to maybe hear some of her music.  Well, January's theme is, fittingly, New Year's Resolutions, so I mandated my sister watch Black Is King, because if I have to familiarize myself with a modern pop star, so does she.

BREAKING NEWS: My sister knows exactly who Beyoncé is, why she's a big deal, and can name several songs from her oeuvre.

0:00 - Trivial Trivia

6:15 - Black Is King review

55:29 - Next episode's mandated movie

We'll be back in two weeks with another mandated movie.  If you'd like to watch it, click here to find where it's streaming or available to rent.

If you'd like to watch the video version of Movie Mandates, you can do so on YouTube.  Alternatively, you can listen to and audio-only version on iTunes.  New episodes of Movie Mandates drop on the first and third Wednesday of every month!
