Knowing God

"Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you (Exodus 34:10 NKJV)."

To be like Christ is to embody the characteristics of Christ! We must be obedient, faithful, steadfast, spirit-filled, prayerful and filled with LOVE. What kind of life are we living as believers of Christ? What do we idolize? What is our identity in Christ?

I hope this week's episode touches your spirit and causes you to seek God's face concerning His purpose for your life! Amen!

Thank you for your continued support!

For the Lord said to Moses, "Say to the children of Israel, 'You are a stiff-necked people. I could come up into your midst in one moment and consume you. Now therefore, take off your ornaments, that I may know what to do to you." Exodus 33:5 NKJV.

Like our ancestors the Israelites, to whom by spiritual grafting we are related, we tend to be stubborn in our ways. We only want we want instead of what God wants for us. Even when we want God's will for us, we are too impatient to experience the reality of it. At what point in our Christian walk, do we come to the realization that our way is the wrong way? When do we begin to understand that unless God's name is on it, it didn't come from Him?

This week's episode is definitely an eye-opener! We hope it convicts your heart as it did ours! Thank you for your continued support always! Don't forget to share this podcast with others; follow us on Instagram/Facebook at www.instagram.com/knowinggodpodcast. God bless you all!

Most people skim through the readings of the books of the Old Testament for lack of understanding the message being delivered by God. This week's reading highlighted the Altar of Incense and its significance as it relates to the Israelites and God. In this episode, my special guest, Tahj Spencer, a 16-year-old high school student and vessel of God, joined me in the discussion. What did the incense represent? Why a Census? Why a ransom?

We hope this episode fills you up with the desire to want to study the word as opposed to reading the word while seeking God's revelations!

Thank you for your support! Happy listening!

The Priesthood. In these two chapters, God appoints Aaron and his sons as priests over Israel giving Moses detailed instructions on how to make them fit for the position God has called them to. God has called you for a specific purpose; are you ready to fulfill your calling? Are you prepared to go through the proper channels to become fit for the spiritual warfare that lies ahead?

Take a moment to reflect on your Christian life and whether you are in alignment with God's purpose! I pray this week's episode transforms your mind and empowers you to seek God more!

God bless you and thank you for your support!

"The Altar" - This week, we continue reading about the laws God set forth before the Israelites through Moses. God is so detailed about the building of the Tabernacle and The Altar where the Ark of Covenant is kept. These details can be likened to us, the believers, true followers of Christ! We are members that make up the body of Christ who is the Head. Each member is designed with intricate detail from God who formed us and the light upon us must continually shine.

I pray this episode awakens the Holy Spirit in you and causes you to go into a secret place with the Lord as you seek His face for clarity and wisdom! Thank you for listening and God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

In this episode, Moses meets with God for forty days and forty nights where he is given instructions on the Ark of Covenant and the Ten Commandments.

In this episode, God continues to lay down laws to the Israelites through Moses. The Lord gives laws concerning responsibility of property, moral and ceremonial principles and equal justice.

Reading the Bible is more than just hearing about the stories, it is meditating on what God is saying and applying it to our lives as true followers of Christ. I pray as you listen to this podcast, the Holy Spirit visits you and ignites a passion for Christ. Amen.
