I prefer this version to the one on the album, but both are great. I just love the more delicate sound that reflects the very vulnerable and fragile state he was in, having escaped the cocaine-feuled hellscape that almost killed him in Los Angeles.
My friend Greg Jones wrote this beautiful ballad. It will be the only non-original song on my upcoming album. It's very rough and I will be bringing in a cellist to complete the arrangement.
