Hey, Koala Kids!

It's that time to reveal our Summer camp Week 4 Winners!

Firstly, a HUGE well done to every camper who entered! This week’s challenge was to design your very own podcast cover art - a picture that would make people stop and think “Ooh, I HAVE to listen to that episode immediately.” 

And wow, you certainly gave us plenty to look at! Our inbox was packed with colorful characters, interesting settings and wonderfully creative logos. 

As always, the competition was super tough! But after lots of looking, thinking and discussing, we just about managed to pick. 

Our official Week Four Winner is… Orla, age 11 from Gloucestershire, with your cover art of characters Burrito & Nugget! Congratulations, Orla! 

And for this week's prize, Orla's amazing creation is the actual cover art for this very episode! That's right, it's on the actual Koala Shine feed for all to see, forever! Well done Orla - you should be very proud! 

But that's not all! There were four other entries that we loved so much, we simply couldn't let them go without a special Summer Camp award of their own. 

So, our Week 4 Cover Art Stars are…

Emily, age 7 in Gloucestershire for your adorable cover art of Bubble and Star - the twin pigs! We particularly loved the setting you built out for them with the Sleepy Forest post office in the background! 

Lily with your cover art for your story titled Rae & The Missing Baked Goods! Rae is a half dragon and half alien character, which is super creative and would definitely make us want to click on this episode! 

Caitlin Brown with your artwork for your story called Ava, Snaffles & The Little Shop. We love how you’ve included one of our very own Koala Kingdom characters in your cover art. 

Anaya in Hong Kong with your cover art for your story titled Brownie The Bear & The Secret Tunnel. What an intriguing title! Brownie is also such a fashionable bear - we simply can’t get enough of her!

Choosing just four winners? Honestly, it was SO tricky! But after lots and lots of reading (and even more debating!), we've finally made our decision.

Our Week Three Story Winners are…

Grace for your heartwarming story about Teddy the toy bear, who shows Koko and Kira all around Scotland!

Sarah White in Canada for your imaginative adventure featuring Jema the dog, who enjoys a stay at the Perfect Pet Hotel with Hector & Sunny!

Leo Stenhouse in Maryland for your wonderful story about Victoria the puffin taking her very first flight!

And, last but not least, Leannah for your wild adventure where Patti the platypus and Belle the cow race to repair magical portals, encountering crystals, a slime river, and lava along the way!

First of all, a HUGE well done to everyone who entered. The Koala Kids team were completely amazed by your wonderful drawings and descriptions. You filled our inbox with magical lands, unique homes and some truly creative ideas. Choosing just four winners was incredibly tricky!

There were some fierce debates among the Koala Kids team, but FINALLY we managed to select four entries. So, without further ado, our Week Two Winners are:

Fiona from Athens, Georgia, with Lunar Island, a tiny replica moon filled with glittery air, moon cats and star beetles. Sounds like a beautiful place!

Nicolas from Quebec, Canada, with Steve Land, a world packed with whacky inventions made by (yes, you guessed it!) a guy called Steve. We thought this was such a fun idea!

Grace Williamson, with Moonlight Lagoon, a magical world that's half jungle, half ocean, where the moon transforms into a giant disco ball. We absolutely loved this one!

And last but not least, Jocelyn from Virginia, with Sleepy Island, a hidden corner of Sleepy Forest where castles are built from rainbow bricks and the clouds rain lollipops. We think Koko would love it here!
