Excited to hear that Lliam Ly was going to fly back his Toronto hood, we had to get this interview together. Being the creative behind both Kodawari Collective and Koda Sound logos, Lliam's story with KC stems from the very beginnings of this whole car passion endeavour. This is not as much a car episode as it is about growing as a person and a business, and giving out life lessons from a Toronto mans living in Vancouver type of vibe. Nau and Lliam reflect on growing up together being the only Vietnamese families in their neighbourhood, sharing stories about the resilience of fighting for what you’re passionate about. We were so glad to hear Lliam finally picked up his first car after moving out to Vancouver and hearing his take as a new enthusiast in the car game.

Nau met our next guest in typical car enthusiast fashion: through shopping for NSX parts. Marc Perez, heads Mita Motorsports in Japan, a shop that specializes in exporting and fabricating NSX and S2000 parts. When these two first got in touch, their phone conversation stretched to over 3 hours long… needless to say Nau didn’t get much work done that day but his wallet certainly got lighter. 
Marc tell us his story of growing up in BC, Canada and eventually moving out to Japan where he currently resides. We hear some really interesting details on how the car culture differs in Japan than Canada and Nau picks his brain about all his NSX knowledge Marc has gathered over the years.

The KC team flew out to Calgary, Alberta to visit the Kodawari man himself, Tony Nguyen. Cousin of Nau Ho, and along with long time friend Allan Phim, the trio talk car shenanigans and passions. There are too many stories to recount but the most epic story would have to be blowing the EM1 motor, which would be inevitably turn into the second engine swap for that chassis, fun! 

We listen to Tony’s journey from his passion of working with his hands from tires, auto body to eventually moving out to Alberta and discovering welding. His current passion project? A complete 240SX restoration done on his homemade auto rotisserie.

Nelson is a photographer out of Ottawa, Ontario. He connected with us through instagram and was one of the first people to shoot the shop's NSX. Nau and Nelson discuss how the Sony branding has stayed  strong and his loyalty to the brand.
