he Sparks Police Department is asking for your help in finding a possibly suicidal suspect who is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

In Nevada when you see a police cruiser, a firetruck or an ambulance on the side of the road, you move over a lane, if possible, to give them some space. A new law says you need to do that for working NDOT crews.

The National Weather Service is warning of MAJOR flooding along the Walker River, similar to the 1983 & 1986 snowmelts. Major flooding is predicted from the Mason Valley, downstream through Yerington to the Weber Reservoir.

Assembly member Jill Tolles is acknowledged as a strong supporter of public schools, but she is also supports Education Savings Accounts. She rejects the claim that providing some funds for private school will hurt public schools.
