The count is now complete in Storey County for the recall vote for County Sheriff Gerald Antinoro, who will remain Sheriff after being accused of sexual harassment and mismanagement. Of the 1,484 people who voted, 601 backed Antinoro's removal; 883 voted for him to stay. Sheriff Antinoro has suggested the recall was a personal vendetta against him by Lance Gilman and the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, which has been pushing the recall for more than a year. Nearly all the recall funding and organization can be traced back to them. Gilman is also a brothel operator and county commissioner.
