The investigation continues into a midtown shooting that put two people in the hospital. The shooting happened Sunday in the area of Virginia Street and St Lawrence.

A Midtown Reno business owner is calling for an end to the violence, after four bullets came through the walls of her business, "Purposeful Living" Sunday.

The Washoe County District Attorney's Office has arrested a man based on a warrant from the Nevada Contractors' Board. Richard James Eaton was booked Tuesday for obtaining money under false pretenses and contractor diverting money recieved.....

While there hasn't been tons of rain on the valleys, 18 inches of snow fell on the top of Mammoth Mountain south of Yosemite National Park. About 5 inches of snow was recorded at Sugarbowl ski resort near Truckee Tuesday morning, 3 inches at South Lake Tahoe and the Mount Rose ski resort. About 1.3 inches of rain fell at Alpine Meadows, 1.2 inches at Donner Lake, and one-third inch in the foothills around Reno. The weather service canceled a winter weather advisory for the area but said an additional 1 to 2 inches of snow was possible tonight above 8,000 feet.....

Reno Police are investigating an illegal dumping case after couches, a television, and dresser were left on the side of the road on Stagg Lane in West Reno. Reno Police officer Tim Broadway says the suspect, 21-year-old Zachary Turney, left behind some trash that included addresses and other personal information, and a witness took a picture of the suspect's vehicle.....
