Crews have begun clearing an 80-acre parcel of land just north of Sun Valley Boulevard, for a new middle school. The school will relieve some of the overcrowding in elementary schools in the area.

Mall parking lots are hazardous for drivers and become even more so during the holiday shopping rush. More than 50,000 crashes and 500 deaths occur in parking lots annually.

Crews started work this week on an 80-acre parcel just north of Sun Valley Boulevard, clearing the way for construction of Sun Valley's new middle school. It's a long time coming for people living in the area.
