Sparks Police say they're awaiting the arrival of an investigation team from the National Transportation Safety Board before providing information on the single engine aircraft that crashed into an R-V park in Sparks this evening, or before providing information on any occupants of that plane. That will likely not be until tomorrow morning. F-A-A officials say the plane was a Beechcraft A36. That plane typically is capable of carrying up to six people. Sparks fire and police officials say the plane crashed into the River's Edge R-V Park while on descent into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport at around 6:00 this evening. Although it did not strike any RV's, fire from the resulting blaze spread to nearby R-V's and vehicles. Firefighters say no one in the RV park has been injured. The Nugget Hotel Casino in Sparks is providing accommodations for anyone not able to return to their damaged R-V's at the park. Residents of undamaged R-V's are being allowed to return.
