Officials with the Bureau of Land Management said a fire has emerged four days after lightning strikes sparked 18 other fires in the area on Tuesday. The Rock Hill Fire was sparked by lightning about 20 miles southwest of Winnemucca. The blaze has burned an estimated 1,660 acres and is about 20 percent contained. Around 210 personnel are fighting the blaze. Crews are using three heavy air tankers, two helicopters, nine engines, four dozers, two water tenders, and two hotshot crews to fight the flames.. It's burning just east of the Monroe Fire, which has burned over 11,000 acres.
