Police are investigating a shooting that happened last night in Reno. They responded to a call about a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2800 block of Kietzke Lane around 11:30. The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a Sacramento-area snowboarder who died Thursday after colliding with a snow fence at 'Sierra-At-Tahoe.' 23-year-old David Karlin was on the Lower Snowshoe Trail when he fell and slid several feet into the fence. He was not wearing a helmet.....

The Nevada Highway Patrol were called to a head-on crash caused by a wrong way driver early this morning. Troopers responded to the off-ramp of I-80 eastbound near Wadsworth where they found a female driver had crashed into another car while going the wrong way. Police arrested the driver for driving under the influence. Minor injuries were reported....
