Law enforcement is on the hunt for Jason "Travis" Simon and Sarah Joy VanOcker-Dunn, who are suspected in a child abduction case out of Caldwell, Idaho. The children, Lewis "Louie" Dunn and Kaylee Dunn were taken out of state illegally by VanOcker-Dunn, and are reportedly with her and Simon, who is accused of child sexual abuse against one of the missing children. The couple is also traveling with Simon's son, Kaydn, and the five were reportedly last seen in Sparks on Sunday. They were last seen in a gold colored 2006 Pontiac Montana Mini van with the license plate 2 CJN 683.

Some local members of the community are grieving in the aftermath of the nightclub shootings in Orlando. Outside "OUR Center," a safe haven for the local LGBTQ community, hundreds gathered to light candles in honor of those killed Sunday morning.

The Reno Arch was dark last night in honor of the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting. Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve said in a statement. "This act of terrorism will only strengthen our efforts to continue to support those in the LGBTQ community. " Mayor Schieve attended a vigil last night outside of "OUR Center"

A young man who graduated from McQueen High School yesterday has been reported missing and the Reno Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating him. Police say Trenner Nolan graduated from McQueen High School yesterday. He was last seen leaving a graduation party at the Coconut Bowl in Sparks at about 5:00 yesterday afternoon. Nolan is described as a white male, five feet six inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The vehicle he was driving is a silver, four door 2006 Honda Accord with license plates 5-1-6 A-R-Y. Police are asking anyone who may have any information about Nolan to contact the Reno Police Department or Secret Witness.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office has suspended the search for UNR football player Mark Ma, 20, who went missing Friday while paddle boarding at Lake Tahoe. The Sheriff's Office was coordinating a search among several agencies to look for Ma. They are now waiting for special search teams that use sonar and that could take two or three days. Ma was with a group of University of Nevada, Reno football players about 1.7 miles off the west shore of Lake Tahoe when the group was hit by 3- to 5-foot swells. Ma was going back to get help when the Obexer's Marina crew saw the paddle boarders in distress and headed towards them. After they picked up the other paddle boarders, they looked back for Ma, who could not be found. But they found his paddle board.

Mayor Schieve and other public agencies were in attendance at a vigil this evening at 7pm, held at the "Our Center" parking lot.

Sparks police are looking for a man who escaped custody in handcuffs just after 1am this morning in the area of Rock and Oddie Blvd.

David Money was arrested during an investigation and was last seen going south on Rock Boulevard. He was wearing a white shirt and light blue pants.
