North Dakota State returns to Gate City Bank Field this weekend for its home opener as the Bison will host Maine for the first-ever meeting between the schools.

The Black Bears enter off a 14-12 loss to Florida International last week. They were a preseason pick of 13th out of 15 teams in the Coastal Athletic Assocation.

The Bison come in after a 35-10 win over Eastern Washington at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis last Saturday. Cam Miller threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the victory.

NDSU holds an 8-1 all-time record against CAA teams, the only loss was to former league member James Madison in the 2016 FCS semifinals.
