Saturday looks to be the calm day for the weekend, but by Sunday, parts of the Northland will have another round of light snow moving on through.
Showers will slide across the northern portions of the region this weekend, with winds picking up for Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures stay in the 40s and 50s for most of the Northland this weekend, and by Sunday much of the region will be looking at a chance for showers.
Cloudy skies linger about the region this weekend, but temperatures will stay nice, ranging from seasonable to mild depending on the day.
Some showers will slide through the Northland Friday and Saturday, but the clouds give way to more sunshine and mild weather by Saturday evening.
Temperatures feel much more seasonable this weekend with some clouds and a bit of a breeze on both days this weekend.
We start October on a very windy note, thanks to a low pressure system located in southern Canada. Saturday kicks off with strong winds in the western Dakotas, moving to the eastern part of the tri-state region later in the day. The strong west wind could see some areas with gusts up to 50 mph in North Dakota.
