Ché and Anna have a catch-up episode. We speak about the responsibility of holding space for everyone whilst on social media, trigger warnings, how our triggers can be the sign posts for our growth, and the responsibilities we have as content consumers. We relate this to Ché’s pregnancy announcement, and Anna’s ‘healing adventure’ and well as how this intersects with the Black Lives Matters Movement.

In this episode Ché and Anna begin the messy and uncomfortable conversation around white privilege, structural racism and why black lives matter. We share with you some of the books, teachers and authors we are learning from as we begin this journey of unpacking and dismantling our own white privilege. We are not experts and we expect to get things wrong and mess up along the way, this is part of our unlearning, relearning and the marathon that we are committed to undertaking. We hope you will join us in this important inner work.

We all have 4 human needs of: Certainty, Variety, Significance and Love and Connection and these have been shaken up in our current quarantine situation as our certainty and variety have been externally pulled out from underneath us. How we respond to the external situation has a lot to do with how these needs are met internally. We talk also about our two spiritual needs for growth and contribution and how we continuously need to pull ourselves back to the more “human-needs” in order to find balance in our lives.

Anna Dall Kaur is an intuitive artist who channels messages of empowerment and healing directly to the soul through her reflective artworks. Her personal journey of healing led her away from the corporate world and into alternative therapies where she found the Body Self Development System, which she incorporates with her own intuitive wisdom to provide healing for body, mind and soul. It was through this journey that Anna discovered her ability to channel art pieces that completely bypass the ego and speak directly to the soul. It is a profound experience to receive one of these pieces as Ché shares! We chat about building “trust” in ‘woo-woo’ practices, navigating relationships along those paths, the creative and spiritual connection and practices to harness your intuition.
