I have been friends with Cullen Joyce since the beginning, and I am a better person because of it. Cullen is a biracial college student in Maryland, and I decided to give him the floor for this week's episode. Cullen played lacrosse and basketball at our high school, Severna Park High. He now is a student at Towson in Maryland, where he is pursuing a career in sports. We are from a predominantly white town, so Cullen has seen the best and worst of ally-ship from his peers. His story is one of inspiration, resilience, and awakening.  I am proud and honored to be able to facilitate his story, and hope that you all listen carefully and see how you can implement his words into your every-day life. 

Jules Heningburg is an underdog through and through. An under-recruited high school player, and an overlooked pro... Jules has the keys to overcome adversity and doubters. We have a conversation about pro lacrosse, coaching, doubters, and how to get some organization in your lifestyle. Jonah Mathews graduated from USC this spring after finishing his final basketball season on a very high note: beating rival UCLA on a game-winning step-back shot. He joins the show to talk about the best players he's played with, his favorite moments as a D1 athlete, and how he was able to come in the clutch during his last game. Jonah has been a close friend throughout my college experience, and I am very excited to be helping him tell his story. Hope you enjoy!
