This week we are having our first discussion about obsession and boundaries with Kpop and fandoms in general. This discussion will focus on discussing beyond obsessive behaviors and taking possessive to a whole new level. Most fans respect or walk the line, but the weird few have extreme disregard of comfort and reality when it comes to Asian fandom participation. Sometimes the fever for Kpop can cross some pertinent invisible lines. Crossing that unspoken boundary may or may not have unintended consequences. We are sure that most things people do for the love of Kpop are just that, but sometimes people can forget that there is a line.

If you don’t know by now Kpop is more vast then most believe. So whether you have been into Kpop for a while, gave it a break and came back or maybe you are brand spanking new chances are there was somethings and/or someone you missed. This week we will take a look back at comebacks, debuts, maybe even disband groups that had interesting moments we wish we were there for.

We will be discussing fans, stans, sasaengs, fandoms, and the that makes up our community. The good, the bad and the ugly. Kpop is a confusing world and there are levels so hopefully we can break it down for you.

This week we went deep. Finally, we had “the talk.” Yes, that talk. We discussed biases, bias wreckers, ultimate biases and bias groups. We came up with some definitions and revealed our biases. It’s not a surprise that all of us are multi-fandom but the results of why our biases are our biases may shock you. This is our most personal conversation about our relationship with k-pop. We also announced that weekly releases are going to be a separate entity and no unkpopular opinions.

This week we decided to do a minipod. We talk about Jay Park in honor of his birthday in April. This particular podcast is explicit, but hilarious nonetheless. We explore his music and in particular how Sam and Thandi got to know Jay Park by sharing their favorite songs and the songs that introduced them to him. This podcast could have gone for hours, so we tried to have some restraint. Maybe next year they will do a part 2.
