KOOKS, CRANKS, AND ICONOCLASTS!

HEYYOOOOOOOO! This BONUS episode is a quick short while we're on hiatus that covers historical, folklore, and/or magical & mystical ritual mutilation, the practice of divination via human organs or deformities, monstrous births, abominable omens, & reading the future through "teratascopy" (or the interpretation of prophecies through the reading of meat malformations and metamorphosis through mutation.) IT'S EXTRA GROSS, EXTRA WEIRD, & UTTERLY DISGUSTING! Plus a quick insight into the modern (-ish) myths of the "comprachicos" or "child buyers", high society and royal freakshows, the brujo familiars known as "imbunche", India's despicable "chelas" & the making of un- fortunate, disfigured "rat children". Is there a connection between these extreme ritualistic & criminal body mods all throughout history from different cultures? This is definitely one of the much more far out there and theoretical topics which currently plague Mike's mind. Give it a listen then be sure to tune back in next week when the fellas embark on a dark American expedition hidden from the history books!Email us!: [email protected]. music from the album "New York. Here's what people are saying about "The Kooks, Cranks, & Iconoclasts Podcast"!
"WTF are you talking about? What is that?" -Pope Francis "It's a subtle mix of poignant insight, fiendishly clever dialogue, an unmitigated retardation!" -Marjorie Taylor Green "(Kooks, Cranks, & Iconoclasts") is cheeky, ribald, and highly problematic!" -Podcaster's Weekly
In this highly "polarizing" W.W.T.W.? roundup, we're catching up on the two biggest news stories of the last few weeks, those being "drones" (if that's indeed what they are) and "that whole Mangione Situation". Not only that but we also cover 2024's word of the year: "polarization", the fall of the Assad regime bringing to light the production of mass quantities of the drug "Captagon", the occult roots of television & some of the intersections between technology & spiritualism, & then we close out with an impromptu game of "The Fetish Guessing Game of Problematic Paraphilias" (and it's not the only impromptu unwholesomeness this episode as Chris & Spencer spring a game of "Show & Tell" on Mike... & it's awful. ) This episode may appeal to those who are fans of old school Howard Stern & FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE! If you're one of our relatives...maybe sit this one out. The secret word for the week is (made up!): "PLUTOPHAGES!" EAT THE RICH! YOU KNOW YOU HUNGRY!
