新潟市内の小学校に英語通訳ボランティアしにいってきました。両親がミャンマー人の小学一年生の男の子で、日本語がほとんど分からないそうです。でも英語は少し分かる。なので先生が言っていることを英語にして、彼に伝える通訳をしてきました。 

I had an interpretation work with a boy from Myanmar. He is a first-grade boy from Myanmar. His Japanese is at very fundamental level and doesn't understand what the teacher says. He understands English. So, I interpreted what the teacher was saying to him in simple English.
