It’s hard to believe that it was only March 11 when the World Health Organization pronounced the novel coronavirus to be a global pandemic. As we “shelter in place,” it can sometimes seem like the end of the world. But, even the most cynical of the world’s scientific and medical minds are saying that the current outbreak will eventually diminish. There is light at the end of the tunnel—it’s just that no one knows how long the current crisis will last . In situations like this, it’s natural to experience a wide variety of feelings—including anxiety, loneliness, and even boredom (for those of us “sheltering in place”). Host David B. Feldman interviews psychology Dr. Adam Dorsay about how to cope during the pandemic.

Most of us have been hurt by someone in our past—a family member, friend, colleague, or stranger. The legacy of conflicts and hurtful words can stick with us for a long time, let alone the pain of betrayal, trauma, and abuse. There’s a lot to forgive. But nobody should or even could ever be forced to do forgive. It’s a personal choice, and one that everyone gets to make for themselves. But research shows that, for those who feel ready, forgiveness can be good for their health. Host David B. Feldman interviews Dr. Robert Enright, psychologist and author of many books, including Eight Keys to Forgiveness and Forgiveness is a Choice about what forgiveness is, what it’s not, and how to do it.

Nurse Rona will interview Dr. Elizabeth Sandel, author of the new book, Shaken Brain, The Science, Care, and Treatment of Concussion. There is much misinformation about how concussions occur, symptoms, the best treatments, and what some long term consequences may be. All people are at risk of concussions from falls, car and bike accidents, sports, intimate partner violence, and military service.
