Highlights of the Film: “More Than Bows And Arrows”
This award-winning film has become the most popular film about Native Americans ever produced. It documents many of the invaluable, and often overlooked, contributions the American Indians have given to the United States and the rest of the world. Bows documents the contributions of Native Americans to the development of the United States and Canada, from net fishing on Northwest cliffs to prehistoric mounds, from medicine men to Arizona's ancient Hohokam irrigation canals. Narrated by Dr. N. Scott Momaday, the first Native American to win a Pulitzer Prize.

Excerpts from the award winning documentary POWER PATHS. Narrated by Peter Coyote and featuring interviews with Winona LaDuke, Senator Harry Reid and many others, this film asks "can America truly achieve energy independence?"
Working together, Hopi, Navajo and environmental organizations force the closure of a major polluting coal plant in Nevada. Many tribes are now taking the lead by constructing large wind turbine and solar projects on their lands. What the film reveals is that tribes' traditional values toward conservation adn the earth are also solutions for the rest of America's energy dilemma.
POWER PATHS will be offered on DVD as a thank you gift at the $125 membership level. Wednesday's host is Gregg McVicar.
