Guest host Max Pringle talks Russia-Ukraine crisis with Kathryn Stoner, Deputy Director of Stanford University’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and author most recently of “Russia Resurrected: Its Power and Purpose in a New Global Order.” 

Then historian James Oakes joins Max to discuss his latest book “The Crooked Path to Abolition: Abraham Lincoln and the Antislavery Constitution.” The book places Lincoln among those 19th Century slavery opponents who argued that the U.S. Constitution could be used as a weapon to end the institution.
