It’s a fill in!! Joe is up north and

isn’t around to record, so we’ll be using one of the fill in episodes

Comic Book Day since 2002, and Cory!! and Joe have been going to

Granite City Comics in St. Cloud MN for that since 2016, but this

year, Butch, Dangerous Dan Mohr, and his wife Jules went along for

the ride. They discuss their adventures in comic shops, the health

of the market, the shops they visited and much more, including:

Special comics are printed to give away, shops have sales, and comic

creators have appearances to promote comic books to the public. This

week, Cory!! and Joe discuss how it works, what shops do to reach out

to new readers, and what Joe would do if he still had a shop to take

advantage of the promotion.

They also discuss:

second eye surgery.
