Residents who live within the Ketchikan Gateway Borough but outside the cities of Ketchikan and Saxman will be asked to vote on the measure in the Oct. 4 election.

Election day for Ketchikan's municipal races is Oct. 4, and early voting is open now: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ketchikan City Hall at 334 Front Street and the White Cliff Building at 1900 First Avenue.
