There is growing, albeit, partisan support for the Texas House Democrats who fled Texas to break quorum over the redistricting effort. The Democratic National Committee is standing shoulder to shoulder with House Democrats who face fines and arrests if and when they return to Texas. DNC Chair Ken Martin calls it a moral fight.

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has endorsed Senator John Cornyn is his attempt to keep his senate seat. Perry, who served as Texas Governor from 2000 to 2015, is endorsing Cornyn over his main primary challenger Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The Texas House met briefly this afternoon - but had to adjourn, because there were not enough members to have a quorum. House Speaker Dustin Burrows says the Texas Department of Public Safety has been ordered to arrest the Texas Democrats who left the state to prevent today's session from happening.

Downtown Dallas is home to the largest-of-its-kind Crimes Against Children Conference - an annual event put on by the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. One of the speakers is survivor Jenna Quinn, the namesake of Jenna's Law, which since 2009 has required sexual abuse training in schools.
