North Texas keeps winning big on companies either moving from or expanding out of California. Governor Greg Abbott has announced North Texas will be the new home of John Paul Mitchell Systems, a distributor of popular hair care products.

Former President Joe Biden will spend the Juneteenth holiday in Texas. The 46th president will be in Texas Thursday to visit a historic AME church in Galveston.

The White House installed two large new flag poles Wednesday and a North Texas company was in charge of the project. Ginger Kean is from Plano and she owns U. S. Flag and Flagpole Supply.

Senator John Cornyn co-chaired a congressional hearing Wednesday in Washington questioning a potential cover-up into former President Joe Biden's health and mental capacity during his presidency. Senator Cornyn at one point questioned the possibility if some Cabinet members may have committed crimes.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office has announced a new investigation related to 33 "non-citizens" who are accused of illegally voting in the 2024 election. A statement from Paxton's office does not give exact locations of where the illegal voting took place but did say this stems from a referral from Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson.
