  • Krush Performance: Experts vs. Masters w/Jim Fannin
There are those who are good. There are those who are great. Then, there are The Masters.
The Masters are those special few who have separated themselves from the rest in terms of their ability to perform and execute their craft better than anyone, seemingly, at will.
It’s said that where an expert expects to do well, a Master KNOWS.
Today, we talk with America’s Zone Coach and Krush Favorite, Jim Fannin, as we take a look back on an incredible weekend at Augusta National and discuss what we can take away from Tigers return to the top of the field at The Masters.
Whether you are a fan of golf or not, a fan of Tiger or not, there is so much we can learn from what unraveled at Augusta and it has implications that go well beyond sport. We talk with Jim about Tiger’s climb back from rock bottom in virtually every aspect of his life, personal, physical, mental and professional to find his way back to the top of his field. It is a story for the ages and a story that provides hope for anyone who has fallen or lost their way….. you can Battle Back!
Also, from golf we go to the other end of the sport spectrum as we discuss the 123rd Running of the Boston Marathon and our quest for the sub two-hour marathon. Is it humanly possible? We think it is.
What do you think? Let us know and enjoy this week’s episode of Krush Performance.

  • Krush Performance: Injury Prevention For Throwing Athletes

Throwing athletes and baseball players, are you ready for your season? In this episode of Krush Performance, we address one of the most challenging and possibly dangerous movements in all of sport: throwing a baseball.
The majority of early season throwing injuries can be prevented by simply giving yourself time to get ready for your season. We’ll talk about progressive throwing programs.
Also, I’ll finish off the conversation from last week’s MLB Kickoff show by going over players to watch and why and I’ll boldly make my World Series Champion prediction.
Finally, why are so many great players coming from the North? We talk with Andre Lachance, the Director of Sport Development for Baseball Canada, about long term development and how sport science is driving the Canadian sport model.

  • Krush Performance: The 2019 Krush MLB Opening Day Special
This week on Krush Performance, Jeff breaks down the numbers from the 2018 season that describe the incredible changes the game of baseball is experiencing: strikeouts, hits, home runs, stolen bases, defensive shifts, and more. Alarming numbers that every sport should be watching.
Never have we seen a professional sport change so drastically, in such a short time as the game of baseball.
We’ll break down the new rule changes and look at some of the proposed changes being considered with All-Time Krush Favorite, Allan Mitchell, aka “Lowetide.” Al is one of our favorite sports personalities and if I ever had the chance I would host a weekly baseball show with Al and create a segment called, “Baseball Story Time With Al.”
We’ll also lay out our teams to watch, stories and players to watch and we’ll make our 2019 predictions for which team will claim World Series Supremacy.
Baseball is Back and we are fired up! Play ball!

  • Krush Performance: Getting Better – Strategies for Overcoming Adversity & Improving Performance
Not much would happen if we all stayed in our comfort zone. In fact, I’d say it is almost impossible to get better at something if we don’t step outside of our comfort zones and face the challenges of improving performance. Getting better takes planning, support, patience and effort and it can be challenging.
In this episode of Krush Performance, we talk with Krush Favorite: Jamie Sale, Olympic Gold Medalist now business owner, coach and parent, about the challenges she faced during her career as one of the top athletes in the World. Becoming one of the best was not easy, in fact there were times when it was brutally difficult and after her retirement from competition the challenges did not stop. Jamie shares some sage advice on dealing and overcoming adversity and for anyone looking to get better and improve their performance.
I also talk coaching, specialization and how you can put it all together to help you better deal with the challenges of improving your performance…no matter what it is you wish to do.
