Rafal Zielinski (Screwballs, Loose Screws) co-directs a trip to your local State Park (or provincial park) as we keep rolling with Season 8: Simply the B-Est!

An evil business man wants to build a pesticide factory next to an old city park, with secret plans to dump toxic waste in the area. The man's biggest problem is a local male protester who dresses into a bear costume and does everything he can to prevent this ecological disaster. Meanwhile, different teens with different stories get their lives crossed as they intend to participate in saving the park.

Also Ted Nugent is there. We can't really work that into the summary because it doesn't really make much sense, but that's par for the course here on KFEB.

Also there's a guy in a bear suit. And this was also released as Heavy Metal Summer. It's kind of a wacky flick.

The Shaw Brothers' go-to director Chang Cheh gives us his take on a Chinese classic in The Weird Man. Season 8: Simply the B-Est! is past the halfway point and taking a turn for the Weird!

The Weird Man is popular director Chang Cheh's bizarre screen adaptation of the famous Chinese literary classic Romance Of The Three Kingdoms. Chang is famous for his lone swordsman and hero films, and The Weird Man is no exception. The film's star Cheng Tien-chi playing a righteous, beheaded priest with supernatural powers that returns from the dead to wreak havoc against one of the corrupt kingdoms, making Cheng a heroic "swords-ghost."

We think. We had trouble following this one, and the hosts who watched the subtitled version seemed to have a different read than those who watched the dubbed one.

Ex-D.E.A. Agent Jack receives an emergency message from his brother Phillip, whose team was ambushed on the Caribbean island of St. Keith. Jack goes to St. Keith to find his brother, who has been turned into a cyborg by the drug runner he was after. That drug dealer is John Rys-Davies, chewing up an island's worth of scenery in this action flick!

Season 8: Simply the B-Est! continues with a hunt for Deadly Prey! Director David A. Prior (Invasion Force, Sledgehammer) directs his brother Ted in this tale of hunted humans!

Colonel Hogan (not that one) is a ruthless former military officer who trains a large group of former U.S. Servicemen as mercenaries by having them hunt down and kill people they abduct off the streets of Los Angeles. Hogan's greedy financier Michaelson threatens Hogan to speed up the men's training or he will pull the plug on Hogan's training camp. However, Hogan and his men meet their match when their latest kidnap victim turns out to be a tough gung-ho marine named Mike Danton who despite being unarmed and hunted, he manages to decimate Hogan's men in detail. Frustrated Hogan, his tough right-hand man Thornton and personal assistant Sybil kidnap Danton's wife Jaimy to force him in the open, while Jaimy's retired police detective father tries to track down her and Danton finds an unlikely ally.

Also Saint of Boogaloo Cameron Mitchell is there as the father in law with the most amazing tracking skills ever demonstrated on screen!

It's a season of the Best of the Bs as Jack Starrett, director of Cleopatra Jones and Cry Blood, Apache, takes us on a Race With The Devil! Season 8: Simply the B-Est! is the best of the B movie directors and this one has some big names - Peter Fonda, Loretta Switt, and Warren Oates.

Frank and Roger and their wives take off for Colorado in a recreational vehicle, looking forward to some skiing and dirt biking. While camping en route, they witness a Satanic ritual sacrifice, but the local sheriff finds no evidence to support their claims and urges them to continue on their vacation. On the way, however, they find themselves repeatedly attacked by cult members, and they take measures to defend themselves.

It's a season of the Best of the Bs with a trip to the Chopping mall from Jim Wynorski. Season 8: Simply the B-Est! is eight episodes of the best of the B movie directors. Eight top names bring top films!

Park Plaza Mall has just installed a state-of-the-art security system, which includes security shutters across all exits, and three high-tech security robots, programmed to disable (using tasers and tranquilliser guns) and apprehend would-be thieves. Four couples l stay after hours at the mall, drinking, partying, and eventually three of the couples have sex in the furniture store beds, while the fourth couple watch old science fiction films on TV.

Outside, a lightning storm strikes the mall several times and damages the computer controlling the security robots, which kill their technicians and a janitor, before going on regular patrol in the now empty mall. The men and women are forced to separate, the men into the mall and the women into the air ducts, when the killbots begin their attack.

Andy and his friend Chris call out for an escort after Andy's girlfriend breaks up with him and moves out of their house. Little do they know that while Natasha is a breathtaking beauty, she's really a possessed doll created by a mad doctor in an unholy laboratory and built with the urge to kill and dominate the minds of others to kill for her.

We think that's what happens. Honestly, half this episode is the KFEB team arguing about what actually occurs in this movie. Also in this episode is the announcement of the movies KFEB will have in Season 8: Simply the B-Est!

Two down and out cowboys wind up in Nashville and are mistaken for detectives. They are hired by the sister of a missing singer. This was the pilot episode of the series Concrete Cowboys with lots of Nashville cameos including Ray Stevens, Barbara Mandrell, and Roy Acuff. (The series would run only 7 episodes and Tom Selleck was replaced by Geoffrey Scott).

Franco Nero is a civil engineer who is robbed at gunpoint in the middle of a post office robbery. Once he learns the police are no help with the situation he takes matters into his own hands. He manages to blackmail and rope another criminal into helping him find the robbers from the bank. 

It's Death Wish meets Network in this revenge flick about police red tape! (Yes, it's mostly Death Wish, but with much less access to guns so most of the film is Nero trying to track down weapons).

Let's get ready to mustache!! It's a season of Free Mustache Rides! It's a spooktacular Mustache as Boris Karloff sits around the house on the Isle of the Snake People!

The inhabitants of a small, remote island have been practicing voodoo rites and worshiping an evil priest named Damballah for years, but the local law officials generally turn a blind eye to this death cult's bizarre activities. Captain Labesch arrives from the mainland, determined to crack down on the island's lawlessness and clean up the ineffectual, hard-drinking police force. He appeals for assistance from wealthy plantation tycoon Carl Van Molder, who owns nearly half of the island and wields a great deal of influence over the population.

Van Molder has made the study of parapsychology his life's work and believes in the secret powers of the mind. He warns Labesch not to interfere with this forgotten island's ancient ways. Also visiting is Van Molder's niece, Annabella, a temperance crusader who wants her uncle to help fund the International Anti-Saloon League. She falls in love with handsome police lieutenant Andrew Wilhelm, despite his fondness for rum. Meanwhile, beautiful native girls are being transformed into zombies, and a sinister snake dancer named Kalea leads them to attack and devour any meddling policemen who get too close to their unholy rituals.
