In the review, I talk about the work of director Sam Firstenberg and fight choreographer Mike Stone, look at the growth of Dudikoff as a martial artist, and I give my hot take on 80s action films. I also talk a lot about what is an actual ninja vs the way ninjas are typically portrayed, and how that symbolizes our biger issue with replacing actual history with the stories we want to tell ourselves.
