Among gaming, tourism and tech, another industry is booming within the shadows in northern Nevada. A new report from the Human Sex Trafficking Initiative shows that the commercial sex industry is thriving in Reno, which impacts communities from Lake Tahoe to Fernley.

There is less than one month left in the 2017 Legislative Session, and that means, more and more, lawmakers are starting to turn their attention to the state budget. The latest numbers suggest that budget writers will have close to $8 billion to work with over the next two years. Autism is a real challenge for parents in Reno, especially when trying to find exciting social interactions for their children. Now there is a new option.
