On September 22, 2006, 16-year-old Cassie Jo Stoddart was house-sitting for her cousin in Pocatello, Idaho. She was supposed to spend the night with her boyfriend, watch the dog, and enjoy a quiet weekend away from home.

But that night, things took a twisted turn that came straight out of a horror movie.

What happened next would become one of the most disturbing murders in Idaho history.

After the lights in the house mysteriously shut off and the sound of breaking glass came from downstairs, Cassie was left alone in the house. Two days later, she was found dead, stabbed 30 times.

At first, investigators were left with a seemingly impossible mystery, but the truth was far more disturbing.

As police began questioning the teenagers involved, their stories started to unravel. Hidden evidence was recovered from a canyon. Bloody clothing, masks, knives, notes, and a damaged videotape.
