Darone kinda goes off on a tangent, not really focusing on a Jewish issue (although knowing Darone, he always figures out a way to bring it back, while he kvetches about Facebook Live! Yup, you heard it right, Darone found something to complain about in Facebook… who would have thought!
In this weeks Kvetch Darone is self-reflective and complaining, in the ways that only he can about the degree to which he does not value himself enough professionally. This one is a doozy!
Yes, this weeks episode may feel like Darone is saying the opposite of what he said in the last episode, but wait, he can explain… Listen to him Kvetch all about holiday lights.
It’s mid-December, so of course Darone is going to Kvetch about Christmas. But I bet you didn’t expect him to have this take on it!
After last episode, we had hoped that Darone was done… but no such luck. This episode Darone has something to say (or rather something to Kvetch about) civility, the way we talk to and about one another.
No, it’s not gum, and it’s not soap, it’s not blowing bubbles and watching them float into the air, or chasing them and popping them… Today Darone has to kvetch about the bubbles that we all live in. How we only really see the ideas that are in our bubble, and thus they are reinforced for us. This falls in the political realm, the religious realm, the social justice realm, Oy! Darone really has a lot to say this week on Kvetch.
What on earth could Darone want to Kvetch about when it comes to Amazon. Doesn’t it make his life so much easier? Doesn’t he order everything through Amazon and appreciate that it arrives so quickly? Listen to this Episode of Kvetch to find out.
Darone likes the Jewish Holidays especially Sukkot, Darone likes to occasionally go to shul for morning minyan, Darone likes to shake his lulav, smell his etrog, and even on occasion put on tefilling. So, what does Darone has to Kvetch about today. The Black-hatters standing outside of the subway asking if I want to shake a lulav or lay tefillin. They are so intrusive. But, Darone doesn’t like to kvetch.
Darone likes the soundtrack of Hamilton as much as the next guy, and one day, if he figured out, he would love the opportunity to be “in the room where it happens” and get tickets to the show for himself and his family, but does every song from Hamilton need to be parodied for everything from the end of camp season, to Hebrew school, to Purim, to High Holiday Services?
