KVGT Podcast

I’m back this week for an episode that ended up being a lot longer than anticipated!  It started well enough, with a short dedication, what we’ve been playing, and what’s coming out, but as usual, me and Patrick went on many tangents during the second half.  It’s good, if I do say so my self.

The only games we talked about playing this week was Child of Light, Titanfall, and Clash of Clans!  I told you the first half way simple.

After the break, we talked a little about Team Four Star and their Dragon Ball Z Abridged series!  I highly suggest it if you haven’t watched it already!  In fact, I’m adding the first episode to the show notes here for you to enjoy.

In The News:

We’re short a host this week (oh wait, that’s me!), but Patrick brought back Brain, a host from 3 episodes ago that really enjoyed himself!  Then again, I’m not sure if he’ll want to come back after this one….

I’m kidding, of course!  They did have a lot of technical difficulties, but it wasn’t so bad!  I’m glad I got to listen to an episode that I wasn’t a part of, it’s always fun!

Anyway, not too much detail on the show notes this week, since I didn’t participate it’s hard for me to include too many, but THEY did talk about playing Infamous: Second Son, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Pixel Junk Monsters HD, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Titanfall, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghost, and Clash of Clans!  Oh, and they talked a bit about the upcoming Godzilla movie.  It looks AMAZING!

Whoa!  Green Man Gaming feuding with the Blue Man Group?  Where the heck did that title come from??  I guess you’ll just have to listen to find out, won’t you?  Personally, this is one of my most favorite titles we’ve ever had.

That’s not saying the content of the episode is any good.  That is for YOU to determine!  However, I think we’ve hit a stride (even if it is a bit comfortable) and each episode is of high quality.  I will mention that Patrick lost his voice only a day after this and you’ll be able to tell he’s still a bit sick, so we apologize about that.

Anyway, so what have we been playing?  Not much, only The Elder Scroll’s Online, Titanfall, and Clash of Clans!  That’s it!  Such a short list this week!  It’s okay, we had a lot of other things to talk about instead.

Sorry about the unscheduled interruption to our normally scheduled podcast over the past few weeks, I could write excuses here and you’d probably believe them (ah, I mean, and you should believe them!), but instead I’ll just say our bad.  Yep, that’s it, so lets get to the podcast.

Oh, but before we go, I wanted to make sure to tell you that my good friend Sean is the guest host this week.  That’s her in the picture to the right.  Continue on to find out more about her!

Anyway, lets get back to the podcast.  Our list of games played this week was a bit short, but we still managed to play The Elder Scrolls Online, Diablo III, Titanfall, Puzzles and Dragons, Clash of the Clans, and Sean is absolutely obsessed with Otome Dating Sim games, such as Shall We Date?

Oh and don’t forget to check out Captain America The Winter Soldier if you haven’t yet!  It was an amazing movie!  We talked a bit about it during the show, along with other Marvel movies coming out and in the past.

In The News:

Don’t think of this episode as being pushed back a week, think of it as us skipping last week!  This episode had so many technical issues in both recording and editing that it took longer than expected.  Even more frustrating, my router went out over the weekend and I lost internet for almost 2 days, creating even more problems!  Oh well, the episode is here now.  Follow through to the snow notes!

I can’t believe next week is episode 150!  It’s been a great ride, and I hope we have 150 more!  While we don’t have anything super planned like we did for 100, it’ll be a fun filled episode, that’s for sure!

This week we had a very special guest!  Past-host Kevin comes back to join us once again after almost 100 episodes!  It was nice to have him back and I think he’ll be joining us once in a while.

This week we talked about playing Diablo III, StarCraft II, Clash of Clans, Titanfall, and Elder Scrolls: Online, so not too much.  This is the section that had the majority of problems and unfortunately part of the conversation about Elder Scrolls: Online was cut off.  I’m hoping to have Kevin back on after his month trial to talk to him more about it, so stay tuned for that sometime in May!

If you haven’t already, I highly suggest heading over to Boss Fight Books and checking out what they have for sale and pre-order.  I helped back this on Kickstarter and I could not be more happy about it!

Sorry I don’t have much in the way of media this week, but I included The Elder Scrolls Online image above that I talked about!  Just click on it to see the full image.

We had a third with us this week in the form of Patrick’s Cousin, Brian!  As you will see from the episode, he added a lot to the conversation and made this one of the best episodes possibly ever!  Don’t worry, he’s only related to Patrick by law, so they’re nothing alike.

I JOKE of course!  The show wouldn’t be the same without Patrick and his personality!  But I am serious about how good this episode is.  We had so much fun that we didn’t realize we hit the two hour mark!

The list of games we talked about this week was a bit long and included Diablo III, Clash of Clans, South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Titanfall, Infamous: Second Son, Final Fantasy X HD Remix, Xenogears, Dead Nation, and Hellfire.
