Week three of the high school football season is in the books and we talk about last night's games with Helias Coach Chris Hentges, Jefferson City Coach Damon Wells, Blair Oaks Coach Ted LePage and Capital City Coach Joe Collier. We also set the table for week four games on the KWOS Coaches Show.

Helias beat Columbia Hickman in football in week 2. Coach Chris Hentges opens the KWOS Coaches Show. Capital City came from behind to win in their first varsity football home game in their new stadium. Coach Joe Collier talks about the win. Blair Oaks Coach Ted LePage joins the show to talk about their game against Lutheran North and we talk to Jefferson City Coach Damon Wells about their road game at Hannibal Friday night.

Jefferson City, Helias, Capital City and Blair Oaks all open the football season with victories. Blair Oaks Coach Ted LePage talks about a win over Maryville on the KWOS Coaches Show. Helias beat Hannibal and we are joined by Crusaders Coach Chris Hentges. Jefferson City beats School of the Osage and we talk about that win with Coach Damon Wells and Capital City comes from behind to beat Warrensburg. We get details from Coach Joe Collier.

Helias Crusaders Coach Chris Hentges joins Kevin Kelly to talk about the first week of fall football practice. Capital City Activities Director Robert Ndessokia talks about their new football stadium and Capital City's first game in that stadium on September 1. The Jefferson City Renegades are the MINK League baseball champions and Coach Mike DeMilia joins us on the show. We also talk Blair Oaks Lady Falcons Softball with Coaches Sharon Buschjost.

The KWOS Football Broadcast Team of Tom Kremer, Steve Duncan and Kevin Kelly talk about the upcoming football season. They are joined on the Coaches Show by Blair Oaks Coach Ted LePage. Also on the show is Helias Softball Coach Kelly Fick.

Kevin Kelly and David Fox are joined by a number of high school basketball coaches as they talk about a shot clock in high school basketball and where Missouri is on the subject. Capital City Cavaliers Coach Ryan Fick, Warrrensburg Tigers Coach Chris Nimmo and Helias Lady Crusaders Coach Garrett Wiggans join Kevin and David on the show. The State of Arkansas has a shot clock in high school basketball and Rogers, Arkansas Coach Lamont Frazier shares his thoughts on the Hy-Vee Coaches Show.

It's the final day of the MSHSAA Track and Field Championships. Helias Coach Phil Pitts and Capital City Coach Scott Gschwender talk about what their teams did Friday and they set the table for the second day of events at Adkins Stadium. The Helias Lady Crusaders soccer team plays in the Class 2 State Quarterfinals today. We get a preview of their game against St. Pius X (Kansas City) from Coach Jon Desha. Also joining the show is David Fox, Executive Director of the Show-Me State Games.

It's postseason time for high school baseball and soccer. We're talking baseball with Jefferson City Coach Kyle Lasley and Helias Coach Chris Wyrick. Soccer districts begin as well.
