In 2005 Summer Youth Workers with the Cultural Resources program at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Branch of Natural Resources, recorded oral history segments on Cryptozoology. Cryptozoology is the study of hidden creatures. Elders interviewed were Autwai Amelia “Millie” Colwash and Myrna Frank. From the KWSO Archives.

Jessica Matten was this year's indigenous honoree for the BendFilm Festival. She is an indigenous Canadian actress who plays coach Hobbs from the Netflix film Rezball. She also plays Bernadette from the AMC series Dark Winds. Matten stopped by Warm Springs at the WYAM Youth Center before the screening of a couple Dark Winds episodes at the Madras Performing Arts Center.

Scott Kalama is the new Small Business Manager at Warm Springs Community Action Team. Not only does he strive to help out the youth of Warm Springs, he also helps out with the adults of Warm Springs, ensuring they get the right advice, the right nudge in the right direction, or the right goals to ensure their small businesses thrive.
