The Heart of Oregon Corps has been a longstanding organization here in Oregon, and its noble goal of ensuring the youth of the next generation can find opportunities in the workforce has forever been admirable. The Heart of Oregon Corps’ Madras’ programming specialist Cullen Doyle, came to KWSO to share more about what the organization does specifically for the communities it serves.

NOTE - on June 9, 2025 Warm Springs Tribal Council voted to postpone this and the Cannabis Referendum due to issues with the absentee ballots.

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Tribal Membership will vote on individuals who have applied to become Tribal Members through an adoption process. The vote is June 30, 2025 8am - 8pm at the Warm Springs Community Center. Absentee Ballots say they must be returned by Monday, June 16, 2025 as the Cannabis Referendum is also included on the Absentee Ballot and that election day is June 16th.

This program reads off the names of the individuals on the ballot, seeking adoption into the Tribes. Also included is their Parent and Grandparent names and the name(s) of their relative who was an allottee.
