Local Warm Springs film makers Brutis Baez and Laronn Katchia, in partnership with the Warm Springs Community Action Team, filmed and produced a short film that was submitted the LA Skins Fest. They brought the group of youth to Los Angeles to attend the film festival and their short film "The Recipe" received an award.

In August 2017, the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI) and several partners convened the first Changing Currents: Tribal Water Summit at the University of Oregon’s Knight Law Center. The summit brought together staff and leadership from Tribes across the Northwest to begin a dialogue around common water interests and opportunities at the state level. Since that inaugural summit, Changing Currents as a project of the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI) has continued build interest and to create on-going summits focused on water resource protection topics and to develop a shared understanding of “common interests” or priorities.

A recent public scoping meeting was held for Warm Springs Power and Water’s proposed Salmonfly Solar and Battery Storage Project. The proposed site is located on the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation. The meeting was a first step in sharing information about the project with the Tribal Membership, to get input and answer questions. Andrew Fernandez is the lead developer for the BrightNight Salmonfly Solar and Battery Storage Project.

Dominic Lugo is the Maternal Child Health Nurse at the Warm Springs Health and Wellness center in Warm Springs.

November 14, 2024 will go down in history books as a day highlighting the significant relationship between the Warm Springs tribes and St Charles Healthcare. Tribal and community leaders along with Warm Springs Tribal members, students, and hospital staff gathered at St Charles Madras for a tribal artisan market and land acknowledgment ceremony.

Mike Holyan is the Family Health Services Coordinator at the Madras OCDC program. He talks about eligibility for this child care and preschool program - one of several sites in Oregon operated by the Oregon Child Development Coalition.
