The man accused of shooting two people at Christiana Care's Wilmington Hospital was a former IT intern who was fired hours before the shooting, according to sources who spoke with our news partners at NBC10.

Police say 23-year-old John Wallace-Bey shot two 19-year-old hospital workers. One of them died.

There's nothing to see at Wills Eye Wear in the Fashion District. The store has closed after losing nearly half a million dollars a year.

Wills Eye Hospital's CFO, former City Controller Rebecca Rhynhart, told the Philadelphia Business Journal that "there just wasn't enough foot traffic" in the mall.

She's been leading a turnaround effort to reduce the $16 million loss Wills Eye posted last year.

A man was shot and killed during a fight in Strawberry Mansion early Thursday morning. It happened around 1 a.m. near 29th Street and Ridge Avenue.

Surveillance video shows the 43-year-old man fighting with someone before he's shot. Police say the shooting happened off camera.

Investigators found five spent shell casings at the scene.

Two police officers were injured in car crash in North Philadelphia, early this morning.

It happened around 1:30 near 23rd Street and Allegheny Avenue.

Investigators say a car collided with the police car and flipped on its side.

The driver of the other car didn't appear to be hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Police in Montgomery County said a 17-year-old girl was duped into thinking she was getting into an Uber.

Lansdale police said back in April, 38-year-old Ryan Applegate stopped on Main Street and told the girl he was the driver who a friend had ordered for her.

The girl got into the car. Police said Applegate held her hand, grabbed her thigh, and tried to kiss her.

He dropped her off at the right place, but days later, he messaged her on Snapchat and asked her to smoke pot with him, officials said.
