  • NJ man sentenced to 30 years behind bars for 2024 murder
    A 35-year-old Vineland man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office says Eric Bundy-Johnson agreed to a plea deal for first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Bonnie Hitchens.
    Investigators say Bundy-Johnson fired multiple rounds into a car in Millville in October 2024, killing Hitchens and injuring another man.
    As part of the plea deal, he must serve all 30 years before being eligible for parole.

    Private parking lot owners are increasingly employing a new tool to collect fees from drivers: Bright yellow boxes called “barnacles” that adhere to windshields, making vehicles impossible to drive.

  • Police identify man shot and killed in Oxford Circle Wednesday night
    Authorities have identified a 35-year-old man who was found shot to death in the city’s Oxford Circle neighborhood last night.
    Philadelphia police say they were called to Magee Avenue near Summerdale Avenue around 7 p.m. That's where they found Vaswani Brown with a gunshot wound to the torso..they rushed him the hospital where he died a short time later.

  • Montco Commissioners codify requirement of judicial warrants for ICE operations
    Montgomery County’s Board of Commissioners has passed a resolution codifying the county’s policy that requires judicial warrants for any ICE activity on county property.
    The resolution differentiates between administrative and judicial warrants. It says the county will not recognize administrative warrants, issued internally by ICE, potentially without probable cause.
    The county will continue to follow the law and recognize judicial warrants, signed by a judge, and requiring presentation of probable cause presented to a third-party.
