More than 100 people, including interfaith leaders, gathered outside the Philadelphia ICE headquarters this President’s Day to protest the agency’s operations in their communities, pray for those detained, and for ICE agents themselves. KYW’s Nigel Thompson was there.

City health officials are warning the public about a possible measles exposure at Philadelphia International Airport. According to the Department of Public Health, the infected person was at Terminal E on Thursday, Feb. 12, between 1:35 and 4:30 p.m.

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Washington Township, Gloucester County. It happened around 4:30 a.m. on Route 42 (Black Horse Pike) near Whitman Drive.

Police say a 2021 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was traveling southbound when it struck a pedestrian on its passenger side, then took off. Investigators were able to identify the car and track its owner using license plate reader technology, but they have not announced any arrests.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is urged to call Washington Township police.

A water main break has closed a stretch of Spruce Street near the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and it may impact traffic for several weeks. KYW Newsradio's Tim Jimenez reports live from University City.
